The Bio-Rad company is currently distributing a new product called BioPlex2200. This is a unique and automatic platform that allows a collection of tests to be performed simultaneously on one blood sample. The first menu, ANA, includes 13 tests to identify a variety of autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune diseases are characterized by the problematic phenomenon that the antibody system designed to protect the body, attacks it.
