Daisuke Anomoto's replacement will soon be decided

A Japanese businessman who hoped to fly to the International Space Station failed medical tests. This is what senior officials in the Russian space agency said. Daisuke Enomoto Daisuke 'Dice-K' Enomoto was hoping to become the fourth space tourist after being selected to fly in the Soyuz spacecraft.
He was scheduled to accompany the 14th crew members of the International Space Station next month.

The three previous space tourists were the Americans Dennis Tito and Greg Olsen and the South African Mark Athelworth. The Russian Space Agency stated that Anomoto was assessed as not ready to fly due to unique medical problems. He was supposed to start his journey on September 14 together with the commander of the 11th American team Miguel Lopez-Alegria, and the flight engineer - the Russian Mikhail Tyurin.
It was reported that soon it will be decided on the replacement of the Japanese who will fly in his place, since apparently the promoters, the company Space Adventures, are not interested in giving up the rate, in the amount of 20 million dollars for a ten-day flight to the space station. The tourist he chooses will return to Earth together with the station's two current crew members - Commander Pavel Vinogradov and flight engineer Jeff Williams.
