Prof. Makori, appointed by the Minister of Education Yifat Shasha Biton will replace Prof. Yaffe Zilbrashtz as the head of thePlanning and Budgeting Committee of the Higher Education Council
The MLA confirmed: Prof. Yossi Makori - he is the chairman of the planning and budgeting committee.
Prof. Makori serves as the president of Tel Hai Academic College (since 2015) as well as an emeritus professor of internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, previously serving as the dean of the faculty.
Prof. Makori has significant academic achievements that include the development and registration of patents and many academic publications in leading journals.
