The Israeli company Septrotech is launching this week a biometric immobilizer based on a fingerprint. The new device that identifies skin tissue from the vehicle user's fingerprint, and according to the company is 99.9% accurate in identification. The immobilizer will be presented for the first time this week as part of the AUTOMECHANIKA exhibition taking place in Frankfurt, Germany.

The product enables the activation of up to ten users using a fingerprint and unlimited identification options when it comes to applications for vehicle fleets. In an emergency or a garage, you can also use the private cell phone to allow use by only one person, using a personal password. The new biometric device has an automatic arming time of 30 seconds, and it works even in difficult conditions, such as direct sunlight or extremely high temperatures.

The immobilizer includes a buzzer that indicates the status of the system, a USB socket, a memory of up to ten fingerprints of ten different users, an internal memory of the last 50 events that occurred in terms of vehicle activation, various programming options, protection against stolen identity, reading of skin tissues without the interruption of cuts , dirt or damage to the skin and backed up by an internal battery.
