As every year, the Miguel Research Institute invites the residents of the Galilee and the general public to participate in the "Night of Scientists and Scientists". This year, due to the corona virus, the events will be held in a virtual format, where you can enter the 'online pavilion' of the Miguel Research Institute and participate in an educational and fun science fair, with accessible activities, free of charge, in which multidisciplinary scientific topics will be presented, by Miguel researchers, who will open the laboratories In front of the audience and experiments that can be performed at home for kindergarten and school children and the whole family will be taught.

Among the events - lectures and activities: the green scientist, colorful rain, research paintings for dialogue between artists and researchers, the magical flower, chemistry games, zebra fish, live yeast, forensics, fruit ripening, the wonders of purple cabbage, cancer research, environmental infections, medical cannabis, The contribution of mushrooms to man, the migration of cranes, demonstration of a membrane model, the brain's mistake, water studies, drones in the service of science, the immune system and the corona virus, a quiz, using insects as substitute food, artificial intelligence and getting to know Miguel researchers who won research grants from the European Union.

This is the 14th year that the "Night of Scientists" has been held at the Miguel Research Institute, under the auspices of the European Union and the Ministry of Science, which is held simultaneously throughout Europe and Israel in research institutes, universities and science museums. The purpose of the project is to bridge scientists and scientific knowledge, and the general public at eye level, in experiential, interactive and educational ways and to bridge science and the community, in everyday life.

The "Night of the Scientists" centers scattered throughout the country, from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, will operate as mentioned in online format events, in which over 50 thousand people will participate. The project, which has already become a tradition, receives wide exposure in Israel and Europe.
