Israel in space: the first meeting of the site of knowledge - on Wednesday in Hamada

The first meeting in the eight years of the site's existence will be held on Wednesday, 15/2/06 in Hamada

In the last few weeks, there were many events that touched on Israel's activities in space, but these events were mostly closed to the general public. For the first time in the history of the knowledge site, which marks eight years of activity this year, we are holding a meeting with the surfers. (Before you ask, the articles from the first years, which were not copied into the current database version, are partly only on my personal computer because they were on the IOL computer that was disconnected and deleted).

The meeting will be held in collaboration with Hamda - Science Education Center in Tel Aviv, at 7 Pardes St. (behind Gan Ha'ir, parallel to Ibn Gvirol) on Wednesday 15/2/06 at 19:00 p.m.

At the meeting, senior members of the Israeli space industry will speak about Israel's future satellites: Amos 3, Venus, Ofek, Eros and more.

Alex Kacheko - Deputy Plant Manager of Bat-Hell - Satellites in the aerospace industry
Dr. Gabi Sarousi - Chief Scientist of "Alup" Company
David Zosiman - Amos 3 project manager at the Space-Communications Company - Israel's future communication satellites
Tal Inbar - Vice President of the Israel Space Association - the eighth space power
Yigal Fatal - Chairman of the Israeli Astronomical Society - Space Studies and Astronomy and Education in Israel
Avi Blizovsky - editor of the scientist website and author of the book "The Crash" - awareness of the importance of space exploration in Israel

The event is free of charge, but those who intend to attend are asked to register on the next page
