The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Orit Parkash-HaCohen, on her intention to appoint Hila Hadad-Khamelnik, who has served for the past two years as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Natibi Israel, to the position of Director General of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
The appointment will require the approval of the advisory committee for the appointment of senior officials in the civil service and the approval of the government.

The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Orit Farkash HaCohen: "I intend to appoint Ms. Hila Haddad-Khamelnik as the Director General of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Hila's rich experience in the public sector, along with her extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of innovation, technology and space, will help her promote and lead the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology while promoting the plans and policies of the Ministry to continue establishing Israel as a leading power in these fields."

Hila Haddad-Khamelnik, a graduate of the civil service cadet course, holds 4 degrees, including a space and aeronautics engineer with honors from the Technion, a master's degree in diplomatic studies from Tel Aviv University and an additional master's degree in public policy and government from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The appointed CEO has a cumulative management experience of about 12 years, starting as an Air Force officer in MPA, at which time she served as a member of the development team of the Iron Dome system and the Arrow-3 system, after which she began her path in the public service, mainly in the Ministry of Transportation, where she served as the head of project management National Infrastructures, whose budget scope is over NIS 27 billion, for the past two years served as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Netibi Israel.

Haddad-Khamelnik (38), mother of 3 and married, lives with her family in the village of Carmit Shangev.
