NASA's Terra spacecraft photographed the fire in Carmel

Since part of the purpose of this spacecraft is to monitor fires, the spacecraft is able to take pictures in color channels that allow for a more detailed view of these areas. In the photos taken today in the different color channels, you can clearly see the size of the fire that is taking place

NASA's Terra spacecraft photographs the Earth's surface every day throughout the day, its orbit is synchronized so that it passes over illuminated areas (Sun-Synchronous orbit) in the passage it made today, Israel's surface cell was photographed and in it the huge fire that is taking place in Carmel is clearly visible. Since part of the purpose of this spacecraft is to monitor fires, the spacecraft is able to take pictures in color channels that allow for a more detailed view of these areas. In the photos taken today in the different color channels, you can clearly see the size of the fire that is taking place.

You can change the setting to view in a higher resolution by clicking on 250m, you can highlight the burning area by selecting the fires only vector in the second row from the top.

In this image, instead of displaying the RGB color channels as in a normal camera, a connection of two images in different sub-red areas is shown and another image of part of the red area that we see, these images are converted to royal colors for their presentation.

Note, in the photo taken on Saturday (the day after the aforementioned photo, the situation looks a little better, the photo was taken during the day, at a time when spray planes were operating and suppressing the flames, while the following night, the fire renewed again in several locations)
