Many years and millions of dollars have been invested in researching hurricanes and finding ways to stop them. Many hurricane researchers would be very happy if they could stop the next hurricane, but this has not been possible so far, although the research has produced many insights and today it is possible to find signs indicating a storm approaching catastrophic proportions. The use of satellite images and various meteorological data make it possible to more precisely predict its direction and give the population enough time to prepare accordingly.

Recently, the US Department of Homeland Security asked a number of leading experts in the field of hurricane research and various professors specializing in weather change to try to lead a new project whose goal is to stop hurricanes. The team, led by Joe Golden of the University of Colorado, requested a budget of $2.6 million over 3 years to try to accomplish the goal.

weather change

The field of "changing the weather" sounds like an impossible thing, but for decades humanity has managed (with great success) to adapt the weather conditions to its various needs.

Since the 50s, researchers have been using a technique that enables "cloud seeding", an artificial method that causes water vapor to condense and form ice drops, thus increasing the likelihood of rain. Controlled dispersion of the material "silver iodide" allows water vapor to cool and coalesce around the material, therefore this is the accepted method of seeding poor people and is used by governments, organizations and commercial entities around the world.

The State of Israel uses cloud seeding to increase its amount of precipitation, the Russians used the technique after the Chernobyl disaster to prevent radioactive clouds from reaching Moscow, in Asia they use the method to reduce rain and clean polluted air, the Americans use cloud seeding against hurricanes, for the purpose of removing fog from airports, reduce rains during periods of drought and more.

The formation of hurricanes and their stopping

The formation of hurricanes is a process in which ocean water is heated by the sun and evaporates into the sky, when it reaches the atmosphere it cools again and forms clouds. When the water vapor cools, the energy invested in the evaporation is released. Cold water creates clouds, rain, lightning and thunder.

In order for the hurricane to continue to operate, it must be over a large source of warm water (ocean for example), which provides the heat energy. When the hurricane reaches a land area or a cold water area, the process stops and the hurricane becomes a normal barometric depression.

In the 60s and early 70s, American researchers in the "Storm Fury" project tried to cool the air by seeding clouds and thereby destroying the internal structure of the hurricane, but experiments conducted as part of the project proved that this is not possible since most hurricanes are not cold enough to create clouds effectively, this is because of the energy release process. Other ways of neutralization include various methods of cooling the water surface, but methods but impractical.

The purpose of the new team

Hurricane researchers have studied over the years under what conditions they form, what their structure is and how they work. When you understand the system as a whole, you can try to dismantle it, and this is exactly the goal of the new team.

At the same time, it must be understood that hurricanes are not created to destroy the length of our lives, they are here for a specific purpose - to regulate energy. Moreover, storms and hurricanes are an essential component of irrigating large-scale ecosystems. Stopping hurricanes can cause a lot of destruction and devastation. Therefore, the new team must act carefully.

  1. Hear: Once upon a time there was a very big storm in the hurricane called DARAMI then there was a war in the city of Chonkin so all the people were gathered into the storm there is no such storm in the world except a hurricane!

  2. Probably you just need to weaken them and turn them into a regular tropical storm.

  3. We need to find a method that cancels the hurricane by some kind of butterfly effect.
Any attempt to influence huge areas and huge volumes will end in failure.
We need to investigate what are the pillars that keep the hurricane alive and try to subtly and subtly sabotage them.

  4. Clarification: The example I gave with "silver iodide" is only one way to "control the weather", there are other methods but they are not as widely used as the use of "silver iodide".

  5. Because this is actually a way to release energy, you need to find a way to take this energy and generate electricity from it in such a way that you both "pump" the energy and eliminate the hurricanes (because there is no energy left to release).

  6. Isn't "silver iodide" poisonous? Doesn't it fall together with the rain and eventually enter our water reservoirs?

  7. The same goes for other phenomena that exist such as the El Niño phenomenon, or even eruptions of volcanoes, lightning, etc. - these phenomena actually cause the regulation of different forms of energy in all kinds of ways.

I hope that there will be a big enough progress in the field of seismology in the coming years because earthquakes have a huge destructive potential, while the Syrian-African fault has been awakening in recent years and a very destructive earthquake is expected in the coming decades.

  8. A person,

I agree with the last paragraph and I really don't think that the intention is that God created and we should not interfere in his actions.

What is written in the paragraph is from the necessity of reality, the cancellation of hurricanes can greatly damage the balance that exists in nature, in general everything in nature has a logical reason that it works in this way even if it sometimes seems to cause a negative phenomenon, likewise hurricanes are also created in order to regulate the The temperature and energy in large systems like oceans.

  9. The last paragraph sounds like:
God created the hurricane for a reason and we should not interfere with his actions.

  10. It is better to target them instead of canceling them, that way they can be used as powerful weapons. It is possible, let's say, to direct a hurricane at our enemies.

  11. A good idea, but there is really a change in the balance in nature, which is something to be careful about.
