SES offers to purchase most of the assets and operations of the space company, operator of Amos satellites
In a statement to the stock exchange, signed by Gil Lotan, VP and legal advisor of Halal, that "the company is honored to announce that it has received an offer from SES, a large foreign satellite operator, to purchase most of its assets and operations in cash or by merging the company with a subsidiary of SES. "
"The offer is non-binding and subject to negotiations, due diligence, regulatory approvals, if required, and the signing of a binding agreement. The company intends to study the proposal and convene the board members to discuss it. After studying the proposal in the board of directors, the company will continue and report on the matter in accordance with the provisions of the law."
Halal is traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a value of NIS 550 million. The stakeholders in the company are Eurocom Holdings, which owns 22.8% of its shares, H. Mr. which owns 21.2%, the Aerospace Industry which owns 20.5% of the company. The rest of the shares are in the hands of the public.
