Last month was filled with unique celestial events - a meteorite in India and a fireball in the US sky

The bright object was just a plane but the fireballs were meteors

Dr. Noah Brosh

The end of last month was steeped in unique celestial events. On September 27, a meteorite fell on a house in New Orleans in the USA. His remains weighed 20 kg. On that day, a body measuring a few meters passed less than 80 km from Earth. Special software for discovering asteroids, which is also used in the observatory
The stars named after Weiss in the Mitzpe-Ramon Observatory, determined that the body orbits the sun approximately every two years in an elliptical orbit. Such a body decays at high altitude, making an impressive display of a bright meteor.

A metro crash was also reported in eastern India at the end of September.
. There, too, it was probably a particularly bright meteor. It was reported that the meteorite caused a fire to break out in a residence, but the experts claimed that this is unlikely, because when the meteorites reach the ground they are cold. According to the scientists, the increase in the appearance of the celestial bodies in the period
This is due to the fact that the Earth now enters the region of the solar system, where there are more such bodies.

Three days earlier, an even stranger event took place in Wales, UK: a 15-year-old high school student caught on his new digital camera a smoke-covered fireball passing through the sky, which he thought looked like a meteor. The two photos he took were transferred to the American space agency, NASA, for decoding. They show a body similar to a bolide - an exploding and bright meteor. What raised questions and doubts was the fact that other sources, such as the US missile warning satellites, did not report the appearance of this body. NASA re-analyzed the images, comparing them with a third image provided by another photography enthusiast, taken with a tiny cell phone camera. Here it turned out that it was not a meteor at all, but, apparently, a plane that climbed into the sky at high speed.
