Below is a notice from the Pratt Prize Committee

This is the 13th year that the Pratt Prize is awarded to outstanding journalists dealing with the environment and society in Israel.

Many thanks and appreciation to all the candidates and recommenders who made this year's selection process fascinating but full of doubts, in light of the number of nominations and the quality of the materials that reached the judging committee's table.

We are pleased to share that the 2013 Pratt Award winners are:

The winners were chosen by the judging committee chaired by Avirama Golan, director of the Center for Urbanism and Mediterranean Culture in Bat Yam, other members of the committee are:
Sharon Kantor - media woman and musician, Avi Gertzman - former editor of the Green Channel at nrg Ma'ariv, Mossi Raz - chairman of 'Chaim Vsaviba' and co-director of 'Kol HaShalom' radio,
Beaz Rakotz - member of the executive board of the Heschel Center and CEO of the "Social Guard"
