Mediatech Hitech, the northern training arm of Matrix, brings to Israel for the first time, the world's leading system engineering course: practical system engineering for space and ground systems engineers. The course has so far been delivered to hundreds of NASA, Boeing and US Army system engineers.

The course will be taught by Dr. Peter Van Wirt, former Deputy Head of Space R&D at the US Air Force Academy. Dr. Van Wirt, who has 25 years of experience in the space and aviation industry, served as a control engineer on the development of Peacekeeper missile systems in the US Air Force and in many other positions. Today, Dr. Van Wirt serves as the vice president of the TSTI Technological Institute. The course will open on June 20 and will last about four days.

The course deals with the development of processes taken from the daily life of a space system engineer, land and defense industries, the improvement of tasks and processes in project environments. The course consists of a combination of face-to-face lectures, interactive discussions and group assignments. The course presents 17 systems engineering processes in three main areas: design, concept and systems engineering management.

The course is designed for system engineers, test engineers, researchers, project managers and more in the space, air, land and security industry and about 25 engineers are expected to participate.

Yariv Inbar, CEO of Mediatech Hitech: "As leaders in the training of the defense industry in Israel, it was important for us to bring the most advanced course in the world in practice to systems engineers. To this end, we teamed up with the TSTI Institute of Technology, which was happy to send us Dr. Van Wirt, Vice President of the Institute for One-Time Training in Israel"
