Let's face it, many of us walk around with a mountain of gadgets, an entire electronics store - in a bag, in pockets, in bags - and one of the annoyances associated with them is that the battery won't run out. If we remembered to charge the cell phone, then maybe we forgot to charge the player or the camera, and maybe we didn't actually forget, but increased use of the phone brought it to the lower threshold of the battery or its complete collapse - and we must, but absolutely must, today, be available on the cell phone. Happens.

Get the Power Purse - and loosely translated it is called an "electric bag", which charges the gadgets with the help of solar energy. The outer surface of the high-tech bag seen in the picture is coated with a layer of photovoltaic solar cells, which "absorb" the sun's rays and generate electricity, which is stored in two batteries hidden in the lining of the bag. USB port from the batteries, with adapters for different devices, and that's it, the device starts working again. How simple…

This means that if the battery calls for help in the hours of darkness - connecting to the batteries in the bag will bring the dying device back to life. Provided, of course, that you didn't forget to put the bag on the windowsill at work, and assuming that there is some sunlight there (however, you always have to remember something...)

To charge a cell phone, for example, it takes two hours to connect to the bag, and fully charged batteries will last for about a month.

"It starts working every time you take the bag outside," explained Joe Heinke, a 29-year-old American engineering student who invented and designed the bag three years ago, in a competition held at the University of Iowa in the USA. "People are very enthusiastic, because it expresses ecological and environmental issues along with functionality that many people need," he says. According to him, the bag was designed in such a way that it would be easy to place it on the window sill or on any surface in front of the sun's rays and it is made of flexible materials that are not sensitive to scratches. "I didn't want to design it as an elitist item," he says. "One of the problems with introducing technology into clothing items is that they look unfashionable and strange, and my intention was to utilize the technology of solar cells in a useful and not too conspicuous way, while we are doing something else useful."

According to him, the bag has already entered commercial production and will be available for purchase this month, initially in England. Its price, by the way, will be about 150 pounds.
