The international conference for personalized medicine - P4H - will be held on October 10-11, 2010 in Haifa. The conference, under the title "Prediction/Prevention/Participation of the Patient/Personalization", will be held in collaboration with the European Personalized Medicine Association (EPMA) and will touch on a variety of research and clinical fields. The international event, in which hundreds of renowned researchers from the world and the country will take part, is intended for professionals in the fields of health and medicine, scientists and researchers in the field of life sciences and biomedicine, managers of health care systems and services, and representatives of the biotech industry. Among other things, the conference will cover topics such as the use of stem cells, biomarkers and molecular imaging, Pharmacogenetics, Nutrigenetics, clinical research in the era of personalized medicine, electronic patient files, e-Health and Personalized Health Coaching.

According to the chairman of the organizing committee, Prof. Ariel Miller, the conference will deal with the hottest medical/scientific discoveries in the field and the dilemmas that accompany those involved in the field and will even give them the opportunity to take part in a meeting with some of the prominent names in the field to discuss, hear and receive advice, on issues related to the fight against cancer , neurological and psychiatric diseases, cardiovascular diseases and the use of stem cells as well as personalized nutrition and lifestyle complementary medicine.

The conference was held at the initiative of the Rapaport Institute for Medical Research operating in Mimona and with the support of the Rapaport family, the Rambam Hospital, the city of Haifa and the Technion.
