In Israel, a person who was cleared for construction violations is appointed as the Minister of Construction, a person who was cleared for theft and embezzlement in training as the Minister of Economy and then the Minister of the Interior. And I can go on…
There is a pattern here - the Prime Minister makes sure to appoint the most unsuitable person for every important position. That way, for example, he can demand that you and I finance his private pool, the feeding of his dog, and the corruption of his wife.
Bibi's role model is King Louis - from Disney's "The Jungle Book".
What is the problem that science roles will have a scientist. Just as a professor is not fit to be the commander of the army
