The first images were taken in the last day (14/6/07) from the Israeli Ofek 7 photography satellite that was launched this week (11/6/07). During his circumambulation of the earth he photographed areas that were of interest to the security system. The reporters of the major media outlets (press, internet and TV broadcasts) conducted a tour of the control room where the broadcasts are received from the satellite and from where the cameras are activated and talked with operators and officers on the site.

According to the news published from this visit, the air and sea forces request to photograph targets, the control room team directs the cameras according to the satellite's trajectory to the required targets, while maintaining the satellite's fitness (for example, not pointing the camera at the sun). The images that are decoded in the control room are transmitted to the air and sea forces.

  1. This is about the best technology in the field of satellites, and we should be proud of that, but there will always be anti-reactionaries who do not like anything the state does. These reactions are, in my eyes, equivalent to the skin of garlic and not the blessed masterpiece of the satellite manufacturers,
    Strengthen and embrace
may we have a nice week

  2. Say Yair HaMeir, are you retarded?
The satellite was launched only now, long after the Second Lebanon War!

  3. Leyar HaMeir.
The satellite is one of the highest quality intelligence tools that operate in real time.

  4. yes sure…. We saw how much these advanced technologies helped us in the last Lebanon war.... Even if the resolution of the satellite camera is as good as they say, in a huge country like Iran it's like looking at the landscape through a drinking straw and looking for a mosquito, it doesn't help much if you don't know what to look for and where to point the camera.... without quality intelligence in real time all the capabilities of the satellite This is equivalent to the garlic peel.
