Dr. Inbal Kreis, Vice President of Bat Halal, who represented the Israeli space industry at the conference, which was held in collaboration with the Yuval Na'eman workshop for science, technology and defense, said that this achievement is not trivial and that the aerospace industry works very hard throughout the life cycle of the satellites to reach this achievement.

Crais detailed the wide variety of types of satellites developed and manufactured in Israel focusing on civilian applications ranging from the Amos family of satellites to various types of commercial, military and scientific observation satellites - in the fields of electro-optics and radar satellites (the newest of which is Ofek 10).
