Prof. Uri Sion, Nava Savarsky Sofer and Rafi Kuriat were elected chairmen of the 2014 International Nanotechnology Conference

Prof. Uri Sion, one of the founders of the Russell Berry Institute for Nanotechnology and professor in the Faculty of Physics and founder of the Center for Nanotechnology at the Technion; Nava Savarsky Sofer, one of the leaders of the Israeli life sciences industry and former CEO of Ipsos; and Rafi Koriat, a partner in the Israeli national nanotechnology project; were chosen to serve as chairmen of the "Nano-Israel 2014" conference to be held in March 2014 in Tel Aviv.

The "Nano-Israel 2014" conference and the accompanying exhibition is an international event dealing with innovations and business opportunities in the fields of nanomaterials, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, nanobio and nanomedicine. Among the participants from Israel and the world, it will be possible to find at the meeting venture capitalists, private funds, institutional and corporate investors, regulatory, technology and development personnel, government decision makers, as well as academics, scientists and researchers.

"Nano-Israel 2014" was organized by the "Conference of Exhibitions" company and in collaboration with INNI - the Israeli National Nanotechnology Initiative - and the nanotechnology centers at the various universities and is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
