"Against the background of the dizzying pace of changes in demographics, modern morbidity, the supply of doctors, nurses and therapists, the introduction of advanced and expensive technologies and the characteristics of the consumption of services and customers, the challenges of the modern healthcare system are many. We are preparing for them with open eyes, when in our vision the digital solutions will become part of the arsenal of tools of the future doctor", said Dr. David Musinzon, VP of Medicine, United Medical Center.

Dr. Musinzon said these things ahead of the PMI conference - the 22nd annual conference of the Association for Project Management in Israel which will be held later this week (Tuesday 5/6) in Tel Aviv. "The key to managing a successful project in the world of medicine is structured risk management, since the world of medicine deals with human life. That's why we put every project in the world of digital medicine through a strict examination process, without discounts, in order to make sure beyond any doubt that the quality of the medicine that has been given to patients so far has not been harmed and, of course, that it brings them significant added value. Our goal, at the end of the day, is to make better medicine combined with an upgraded customer experience. We treat a new product in digital medicine like any new drug or medical technology, and therefore we will examine it with strict clinical parameters and regulators, this as part of the project management process," added Dr. Musinzon. According to him, "It is the duty of senior managers in the healthcare system to understand that the quality of medicine must not be compromised even in digital medicine projects, and that one must not be satisfied only with customer satisfaction as is customary in some other product content worlds. The medical knowledge is vast and therefore the medical experts in the field must be shared in the first stages of the idea and later in the characterization, application and assimilation while understanding the complexity and psychology of the users - the doctors, therapists and patients. When considering the adoption of innovation by customers, in the world of medicine it is necessary to give significant weight to the unique characteristic of this world, where the customer is not only the potential patient, but also the doctor. A complex challenge in a traditional and careful world where the doctor is at the forefront, and serves as a critical "OPNION LRADER" in its effect on the product and the patient - customer.

The annual conference of the Association for Project Management in Israel has been held in Israel since 1996 every year in May. At this year's conference, produced by "People and Computers", new methodologies will be presented and managerial and professional aspects of the project manager's world will be discussed. The conference, which annually draws over 1,000 participants, is expected to take part project managers from all sectors, industrial and management engineers, economists, members of the defense system and more. Moshe Yona, Chairman of the POY (Project Of the Year) Committee and Vice President of Finance at PMI Israel, will present the "Project of the Year" awards to outstanding projects that have demonstrated innovation and creativity.
