Magen David Adom and Dassault Systèmes launched a unique website to promote saving lives through a virtual illustration in XNUMXD technology

Dr. Eli Yaffe, director of the organization's Outreach and Outreach Training Department, said that MDA operates dozens of vehicles and vehicles to reduce cases of death from cardiac arrest, but every citizen can help save a life, when every second counts

Dassault Systèmes Israel unveiled a new website for the treatment of cardiac arrest in partnership with MDA, the largest rescue organization in Israel. Staying Alive is a unique non-profit website established to promote awareness of cardiac arrest and CPR in Israel, and includes a XNUMXD virtual game to promote these issues among the general public.

About 6,500 people die a year in Israel as a result of cardiac arrest events. What is not known to the general public, is that it is possible to save the lives of many of the people who suffered a cardiac arrest through a few simple actions. Dr. Eli Yaffe, director of the organization's outreach and outreach training department, said that MDA operates dozens of vehicles and vehicles to reduce cases of death from cardiac arrest. "We are deployed all over the country to handle all possible cases. We also conduct dozens of trainings a year for anyone who is interested, but we want all citizens in the country to know how to perform first aid."

With the help of the simple website open to the general public, you can learn how to diagnose cases of cardiac arrest, how to perform initial resuscitation, call the rescue services and even activate a defibrillator ('from time to time'). The site presents an interactive application that provides an online learning experience with XNUMXD technology, which allows you to learn all these actions in a short time, and practice them in an interactive XNUMXD game.

"If you can explain in 4 minutes how you can save a life, we have done a lot, and that's why we also teamed up with Dassault Systèmes in this important project," said Eli Yaffe from MDA.

Eli Boikis, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Israel, told how Dassault Systèmes' XNUMXD solutions were used to create the web application: "We at Dassault Systèmes focus on various industries, including the life sciences industry. Our XNUMXD technology helps in designing stents (for implants), robotic prostheses, ergonomic simulations and a wide variety of other products and applications. In this case, we chose to create a XNUMXD 'educational' experience to help educate the public in dealing with cases of cardiac arrest, use of a defibrillator, and more. The site we created continues other applications we developed for the general public, such as the unique site for maternity - Born To Be Alive, and also the site for studying animal biology - "AllEyes.

At the end of the event, the participants practiced a real case on the site, in which one of their colleagues in the office went into cardiac arrest and had to save him within 4 minutes, to the tune of the song Staying Alive - the rhythm recommended for heart massage, until he was connected to a defibrillator.
