The witch received government funding to start a business

Governments usually make investments to encourage businesses of all kinds, but it seems that in Norway they got a little carried away: the government decided to give a witch funding so that she could start a business of potions, fortune-telling and magic.

Governments usually make investments to encourage businesses of all kinds, but it seems that in Norway they got a little carried away: the government decided to give a witch funding so that she could start a business of potions, fortune-telling and magic.

As far as is known, 33-year-old Lena Skerning is the first witch to receive such strange funding. Screening received the amount, totaling 53 thousand crowns ($7,400), after promising not to perform magic in her business that would cause any damage.

Screening, who has a white cat and says she has been practicing witchcraft for 13 years, believes that the great success of the Harry Potter series has made people more tolerant of witches and wizardry.

"The difference is that Harry Potter is a legend and I'm not," said the witch Screening the other day. "Completely Anyamian and now, with the help of the money I received, I have become the only witch in Norway with financial support from the government."

According to her, the government funding will help her in her diverse activities, which include fortune-telling, studying magic, and developing various products such as magic bath oil, potions and a special face cream that guarantees golden dreams at night.

"The ingredients of my products are mainly medicinal herbs, nothing scary here," she said.

Screening emphasizes once again that Harry Potter is fiction, and, by the way, it also has professional proof. "He rides the broom in the opposite direction," she says. "Real witches ride with the broom's brush forward".
