First exposure: The Israeli Association for Small Satellites is a partner in Cornell University's space project

NASA, the US Air Force, Boeing and Northrop Grumman, among others, participate in the project. The goal of the project is the development of nano satellites based on a mass production tiny satellite platform

The Israeli Association for Tiny Satellites (INSA) has been chosen to be an official supporter of a nanosatellite project planned at Cornell University in New York.

The association, which brings together experienced space experts from industry and academia, accompanied the project in the planning phase and technical preparations for a detailed high school survey that will take place at the end of March in front of representatives of the US Air Force. The association's experts conducted peer surveys for the high school documents and presentations, and even hosted a representative of the project at the offices of the Israel Space Agency. The association is also examining the possibility of cooperation on a global network for receiving and recording telemetry for the satellite in question.

There is no doubt that this is an important step for the inclusion of the State of Israel in the growing international community of designers and operators of small satellites. The field of tiny satellites has been gaining momentum lately, and dozens of tiny satellites from different countries are in various stages of planning. The US Air Force deals with the issue of tiny satellites, as well as various universities and research institutes in the world.

The first national seminar in Israel dedicated to small satellites will be held soon - detailed information about the program of the seminar will be published soon. The symposium was initiated by the Israeli Association for Small Satellites.

Many organizations and companies participate in the project, including all the aviation giants in the US such as Boeing and Northrop Grumman, the US Air Force, and even NASA (For the full list of participating entities).
