Ahead of Israel Space Week, which will open on January 25, the Israel Space Agency at the Ministry of Science is launching today the largest and most comprehensive website on space issues in Israel at Space.gov.il

On the website, which is designed in a space atmosphere, the public can keep up to date with the activities of the space agency, the latest news in the field, receive information on space technologies and key concepts, watch videos on space topics, and receive suggestions for activities at home.
The site contains information about the agency's activities such as international collaborations for building satellites and space exploration, research carried out at the academy with the support of the agency, technological developments for space promoted by the agency and educational activities conducted by the agency such as classes, scholarships, competitions and Space Week events.
Similar to the largest space agencies in the world, the agency is launching for the first time on the new website an extensive database of space-related content intended for the young and curious. The database contains hundreds of concepts about the solar system, technology, man in space, Israel in space, answers to common questions, suggestions for experiments and activities at home and more. The website also combines a series of short NASA videos in Hebrew explaining phenomena in space produced in collaboration with the educational company and videos produced in collaboration with the Children's Channel.
Another part of the site is intended for the community of educators and contains information on further training, training and professional conferences, suggestions for lesson plans and activities in the class or in a group.
