Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit Systems announced yesterday (September 1.9.05, XNUMX) the start of work and the execution of the contract for the supply of drone systems to the Turkish army.
As I recall, the contract with the Turkish Ministry of Defense was signed in May of this year by IUP (Israeli UAV Program) with the Aerospace Industry and Elbit, in an equal partnership.
IUP is the main contractor of Tusas Aerospace Industry (TAI) in the program, and it will supply the drone systems to the Turkish Ministry of Defense. The duration of supply is about 3 years.
The scope of the contract for TEA and Elbit is 150 million dollars, and the systems that will be supplied will be operated by the Turkish army.
