The unique Israeli systems, the fruit of the development of the 2nd and 3rd Air Defense Forces, satellites, warning planes, strategic drones and more, are an essential component in building Israel's security, industrial and economic power" says Yitzhak Nissan, CEO of the Aerospace Industry, on the eve of the opening The annual conference for aerospace industries to be held at the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem today (Monday, 15.11.2010/XNUMX/XNUMX).

In the sessions on active defense, senior officials from the Israel Defense Forces will present the "Arrow 3" system - a new concept against missiles and will detail the challenges in developing air defense systems.

The next generation of observation satellites and advanced aerial satellite launch technology will be presented at the space station.

Additional lectures by the TAA will be on airworthiness and integration into the airspace of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and mission aircraft in the naval arena.

In the civil aviation session, new trends in the development of civil aircraft will be presented, as well as the Sami - robotic Taxibot - system for towing aircraft that saves aircraft fuel and significantly reduces air pollution at airports.

As part of the conference, there will be a static display of the aerospace industry's products, including the "Cheetahs" tactical UAV, the "Hats 2" and "Hats 3" system, the TecSAR satellite model, the "Barak 8" weapon system model, and more.
