Secrets of the Oil - Hanukkah in the Science Garden at the Weizmann Institute

Why does oil float on the surface of water? How can you make your own oil paints? Or design an oil lamp? The answers to all of these will be given in a special Hanukkah activity that will take place during the Hanukkah holiday at the Klor Science Garden, which is a unique science museum operating under the dome of heaven.

The activities - designed for the whole family - will focus on the special properties of the oil, and will include a variety of workshops, experiences and demonstrations that are clever and entertaining. In addition, guided tours will take place between the science garden facilities, and nature tours will take place in "Eco-Spira" - the unique ecological complex in the garden.

The Clore Science Garden, operating within the framework of the Davidson Institute for Science Education, which brings together the educational activities of the Weizmann Institute of Science, is a unique science museum of its kind in the world, operating under the dome of heaven. The garden includes dozens of exhibits, which demonstrate physical principles and ecological phenomena in an experiential and active way.

The activity involves a fee and will take place during the Hanukkah holiday, from Sunday to Friday.
