These days, the technology incubator Yozmot Ha'emek from the Jezreel Valley signed a first cooperation agreement of its kind with the representatives of the Ministry of Science of the Alsace region in France. As part of the agreement, the companies (operating in the greenhouse) that join the agreement will benefit from penetrating the European market and receiving opportunities for marketing and scientific growth. Strategic capital.
The companies will also receive a front office in the Alsace region of France, an office that will allow "opening doors" in Europe.
According to Avery Maoz, the CEO of the technology incubator Yozamot HaEmek: "In Europe there is a real lack of projects, so they are working and looking for cooperation agreements with other countries. In the valley initiative hotbed, they found a suitable infrastructure and projects that they believe have high chances of success. It is not about selling the projects to foreign parties, but only about international aid and cooperation."
The goal of the Alsace government in these projects is to assist in scientific and research development, and in the future to create jobs, therefore it is ready to invest large sums in this, to grant subsidies and even scholarships (in the case of the participation of a French scientist in the project).
The manager of the technology entrepreneurship incubator program at the Scientist's Office of the Ministry of Education and Culture gave her blessing to the project attempt.
In the first stage, 4 to 5 companies are expected to sign the cooperation agreement, and Abri Maoz, the CEO of the incubator, hopes that in the future the cooperation will be possible for all the companies operating within the technology incubator Yozemot Hamek.

The Valley Initiatives incubator, which was established in 1993 and is managed by Valley Initiatives Ltd., currently has 12 projects (8 of them in the field of medical equipment, 1 in the field of materials, and 3 in the field of infrastructure and energy). The budget for the management activity of year 13 (20052006-1.7) will reach NIS XNUMX million. The greenhouse is currently undergoing initial privatization procedures.
