Official delegations from 15 countries have already announced their intention to come to Israel and take part in the ILSI-Biomed 2011 conference and exhibition, which will be held in Tel Aviv between May 21-23. The delegations, which will arrive as guests of the Ministry of Tourism, will include senior managers from a variety of government bodies, recognized academic researchers and senior industrialists from the fields of life sciences in their countries. Among the countries that confirmed their arrival: Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Denmark, Korea, Switzerland, Spain, China, Poland, Czech Republic, Singapore, Canada and France. Delegations from Chicago and New York will also arrive.
The directorate for foreign trade in Temat operates 38 annexes around the world that deal with the promotion of exports and economic and industrial cooperation in the countries of their jurisdiction. Most of the members of the delegations, who will take an active part during the week at the conference, already have a busy schedule of meetings with Israeli biomed companies to examine possible collaborations.
The "ILSI-Biomed Israel 2012" week has become, in its more than ten years of existence, an international conference in which the biggest (and hottest) names in the world from the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices take part every year.
