Flying saucer - in the space station

On Friday morning (US time) astronaut Christer Fuglesang broke a world record for the longest time hovering a flying saucer (Frisbee). The previous record was 16.72 seconds and was set by Don Cain in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, while now Vogelsang allowed the Frisbee to hover for no less than 20 consecutive seconds, the distance traveled by the Frisbee during the hover was about 154 km considering that the speed of the shuttle is over to 7 km per second.

A response has not yet been received from Guinness World Records…

Previous "sporting events" performed in space include several rounds of golf on the surface of the moon during the Apollo 14 mission and another "game" as part of a commercial about a month ago on the International Space Station.

  1. A world record, in space?
Where is the world record if the measurement was made for the world (the Earth)!
I'm sure the Guinness Book won't accept it, after reading my reaction.

    And you?
