  1. within the limits of caution against defamation. There is no scientific team in the fields of aeronautics.
The last name belongs to a well-known family in some political party in Israel.
Professor Pascal Ehrenfreund has 300 academic publications, and has been appointed as a professor at prestigious universities
in the USA and now in Vienna, and an entry in Wikipedia.
A search for Dr. Maale's academic publications indeed turns up 1-2 publications but no more. She may be very talented, but there may be academics in Israel with richer resumes in the field. My apologies and if I missed the number of publications, I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten our eyes and point to more publications about the ones I found.

  3. What is the practical significance of the new position?
How will this promote Israel's technological independence?
