The seven crew members of the space shuttle Discovery returned safely to Earth after a 10 million kilometer journey through space. One of the things that will be remembered from the mission is the malfunction in the television antenna and the radar, which caused disruptions during the mission, and the scanning of the shuttle's heat shield was done without the support of the ground team.

The landing was delayed a day after, on the original day - Monday, it was not possible to land in Florida due to bad weather.

Discovery arrived at the space station on April 7 and uploaded over 7 tons of equipment and supplies. Two of the crew members performed three spacewalks during their ten-day stay at the station, during which they replaced an old ammonia tank with a new tank weighing approximately 800 kilograms in the outer part of the station. They also replaced a gyroscope and returned to Earth a Japanese test system and two heat shields.

There are now three more flights left until the end of the ferry project.
