Three of the most important developers in the world will come to the DevelopEX2016 conference to present their important developments.

Dr. Eben Upton (Dr. Eben Upton) - holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and previously worked at Ideaworks3D, Intel and IBM. But he owes his publication to the development of the Raspberry Pi computer. A computer that was developed for educational purposes and to help recruit students to Cambridge University but has become an important development tool for millions of developers around the world. The idea was to develop a cheap computer with open interfaces and an open source operating system. The result: a complete computer that costs only 30 dollars (and in some models even less than 10 dollars) and has sold 8 million units so far.

Dr. Luke Julia Dr. Luc Julia) - one of the pillars in the development of the Siri voice command system integrated into Apple's mobile phones. He began the development of the system when he worked at SRI International, but the system reached the level of commercial use only after he joined Apple in 2011 and led the company's internal development team. Today, Julia serves as vice president of innovation at Samsung and leads the development of the ARTIK platform, which allows developers to develop diverse applications while utilizing cloud computing capabilities.

Ran Polyakin - the inventor of wireless charging for mobile phones. As early as 2006, Ren conceived the idea of wireless charging and led the Powermat company as CEO to many business successes, including agreements with Durcel, General Motors, AT&T, DuPont, as well as installations in all Starbucks branches worldwide. He founded Powermat together with Dr. Amir Ben Shalom, Dov Hershberg and Yoav Hefer and managed it until he retired in 2014. Since then he has been involved in 10 technology companies that he initiated in the fields of health, communication, printing and media.

The three developers will reveal at the DevelopEX2016 conference the vision, the challenges and difficulties they had to face on the way to realizing their ideas and turning them into useful products.
During the DevelopEX2016 conference, other innovative products and technologies that have been recently developed in Israel and around the world will be presented. The conference will include about 40 lecturers and facilitators from all over the world and is considered the professional summit meeting of all those involved in the planning and development of integrated systems and IOT applications. This year the conference will be held on September 20, at the AVENUE conference center in Kiryat Airport and about 1,000 industry people are expected to participate.

Shlomo Gerdman, General Chairman of DevelopEX2016 says: "In light of the great interest that many companies show in the development of integrated systems, we decided to focus the DevelopEX2016 conference on developments that combine hardware and software systems for various applications. The conference will allow electronic system developers to keep up to date with the latest development tools and components available to them as well as teach about the trends and directions of industry development in the hottest topics including IOT applications, state-of-the-art systems for the automotive sector, XNUMXD printers, state-of-the-art solutions for data storage and more. In addition, this year we put special emphasis on the issue of data security and gathered a number of experts who will present ways and methods to secure development systems and user data.
