Last week I participated in a special briefing held by the Aerospace Industry, in which various systems developed and produced by the company were presented, which are intended for combating terrorism. In this review I will present a special system developed at the MLM factory of the Aerospace Industry, better known as the maker of missile systems, various rocket engines and special electronic systems.

The system is another layer in the aerospace industry's broad effort to provide a comprehensive response in the concept of inter-arm integration to the special requirements of combat in the urban environment.
The system was developed over the past year while analyzing the operational need and IDF experience and based on technological building blocks, unique products of the aerospace industry and current off-the-shelf products. The training software was adapted to provide an optimal response to the operational requirements of urban warfare.
The system functioned very successfully in exercises, trainings and other events of special units in the IDF, led to a considerable improvement in the performance of the units and won many praises from commanders and fighters.
The system has great export potential and MLM has started marketing the system to several countries that have shown interest in it.
The broadband communication system enables communication between all the parties: the tactical task forces (among themselves and with the command echelon), land, air and sea auxiliary forces and means of communication and sensing.
Using small, hardened handheld computers, it is possible to obtain on a three-dimensional map a picture of the situation of our forces, including the location of colleagues from nearby task forces and, at the same time, of the enemy's targets as determined in advance during the planning phase and in real time during the execution of the mission/training.
The system is flexible, can operate at any site, activates scenarios according to pre-planning or with the intervention of the exercise director. All system operations are recorded and can be recovered and investigated using a central server.
The system presents an analysis of environmental conditions such as lines of sight and area of fire, presents the effectiveness of the means of warfare and their fire ranges, analyzes planning versus execution and monitors time management and process flow.
