Tomorrow, Monday (June 29), the annual "Cleantech 13" international conference and exhibition for water technologies, renewable energy, green construction, recycling and environmental quality will open at the fair center in Tel Aviv. At the center of this year's exhibition, which brings together over a hundred exhibitors from Israel and the world and will last two days, is a call and hope shared by all those involved in the fields of Israeli cleantech and at the center of it is the appreciation and hope that the Israeli government's investment, similar to the government in the US and other countries, in the research and development of the industry, alongside the establishment of national projects and investment in infrastructure - Take the economy of Israel and the world out of the severe financial crisis of the last year.

Moshe Gaon, chairman of the Gaon Group, who will open the conference, said this morning: "Promoting the cleantech industry in Israel is first of all a strategic, security and economic goal to preserve the independence of the State of Israel. Unfortunately, the task has not yet been placed at the top of the national priority list. The problem in the State of Israel does not lie in what has been achieved and what has been built so far, but in the undefined vision for the future. The constant preoccupation with the question of peace urged Keren Zeta the need to dream anew, dare and define a new agenda for the country - regardless of its enemies. The time has come for a "new Zionism" centered on the solution of global water problems and the development of renewable energies that will serve as an alternative to Arab oil."

Haim Alosh, CEO of the exhibition: "Tens of thousands of additional workers can be integrated into the industry, in the major projects and in the construction of national infrastructures that the cleantech industry can develop. The hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of guests from Israel and abroad that we expect this year can change the rules of the game and make Israel a major player on the world stage. The knowledge already exists - but the Israeli government must decide, and now make bold decisions that will move the economy forward."

  1. Don't forget that the oil will run out anytime and it is better to find substitutes before that happens

  2. "The Arab oil" - it's a shame that they try to ignite an environmental issue with nationalistic considerations. If the oil was not Arab but Israeli, wouldn't it have been replaced?

  3. In order for something to catch on, it must be converted into money, otherwise it will not exist and there is nothing wrong with that, every investment should have a return, there is no reason to invest and lose just for values
