The Aerospace Industry (IAI) led by Chairman Dov Baharav approved the recommendation of CEO Yossi Weiss to appoint Mr. Boaz Levy as Vice President at IIA and Director of the Missile and Space Systems Division (MTA).

Boaz Levy began his career at TEA in 1990 as a guidance and control engineer in the 'Hatz' project. He later served as the head of the 'Hatz' integration project at the Melam plant from the foreign exchange division. In 1999 he was appointed the chief engineer and managed the development of the 'Hatz' weapon system. Between the years 2003-2006, Boaz served as the head of the 'Arrow' program and led a long series of successful systemic experiments, including the system experiments in the USA. For their successful leadership, he received the "Project Leader of the Year" award (2004) from the Minister of Defense.

During his position as the head of the program, he managed the joint production process of "Arrow" components in full cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, the US Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Israeli defense companies and American defense companies led by Boeing.

In the years 2006-2010, Boaz served as the head of the Barak 8 program in the foreign exchange division. In 2010, he was appointed director of the Air Defense Systems Plant of the Israel Defense Forces. As part of his position, he managed multidisciplinary and international air defense projects, and was entrusted with the development and production of groundbreaking systems in the concept of active air defense.

Boaz Levy, born in 1961, married and father of two, is an aeronautics and space engineer (Technion) and has a master's degree in systems engineering from the Technion.
