Space-Communication Company, operator of Amos satellites, signed a service agreement with a European company for the distribution of satellite TV, on Amos-3, for a total amount of about 17 million dollars for the next 11 years.

The agreement constitutes a significant addition to the satellite services provided on Amos satellites in Europe. The new satellite TV platform is the fourth platform broadcast on Amos satellites and joins the three existing platforms: YES in Israel, BOOM in Romania and THome SatTV in Hungary.

David Polak, CEO of Space-Communications said today that "this agreement is a direct continuation of the extensive activity of Space-Communications in Europe. Adding a fourth satellite TV platform, such as YES in Israel, which is the third platform in number broadcast on Amos satellites in Europe, is an impressive achievement and further establishes our position as a satellite services company in the European market and points to the quality of the broadcast and the great trust in space-communications and Amos satellites."

Polk also added that: "These days we are witnessing increasing demand for the company's satellite services, a trend that has led to the promotion of the business plans of the Space-Communications Company, while establishing its position as one of the fastest growing satellite communication companies in the world."

The Space Communications Company plans to launch the Amos-4 satellite in 2012 and even earlier the Amos-5 satellite in early 2011. Both satellites will be launched for the first time to new sky positions in space that will be in addition to the W4 point where the Amos-2 and Amos-3 satellites are currently operating, and will expand the deployment of the company's services throughout the African continent and in the Southeast and Central Asia region. The company anticipates that with the commercial operation of Amos-5, the company's volume of sales will increase dramatically, since the scope of the communication services of this satellite is comparable to the ability to provide the services provided by the Amos-2 and Amos-3 satellites together.
