The clean gum (Clean Gum) is designed to be easily removed from the shoe and pavement, as well as from hair, skin and clothes, so that you can walk down the street without fear of ruining our favorite shoes.
Results from initial tests, which were announced this week at the annual science festival held at the University of York in the UK, also showed that the gum will naturally disintegrate in water.
"The advantage of the clean gum is that it tastes good, it is easy to remove and has the potential to break down and prevent damage to the environment," says Terence Cosgrove from the University of Bristol in the UK and a scientist at Revolymer, the company that developed the gum.

So can I give up the idea of a machine for cleaning gum, candies, etc. that are firmly stuck to the sidewalks?
The truth is, just last week I sorted through my various ideas to form a proposal for an investor (who would be bold enough or shy enough to invest in me) and there is the above idea because of a sidewalk on Bialik Street in Ramat Gan... 2 such 4 to 10 cm gum stains per square meter (you are welcome to check)..that's what was written!
Therefore, it is not clear to me why they think that the problem is the sticking of the gum to the shoe? And what about the idea of a dirt-repellent sole that is not more practical?
It is important to mention that Bialik is a central street and the sidewalk there is relatively new, yet the entire sidewalk is full of stuck pieces! This means that if you were a machine for removing the strongly stuck gums, it would be used at least before the holidays!!
Now I looked at the page, the idea is from 12.2.2005 and the dirt-repellent sole is from 6.3.2005!!
the truth? I was disappointed by the small amount of ideas 78 in total! I expected hundreds! Of these, only 31 are suitable for presentation to an investor (according to an investor's website) ..it will take me about another month until I am ready to present the ideas to an investor who seems suitable to me (if he has any money left!)..I am waiting for the rain because this sun is taking me out of focus!

I personally would not invest money in "high-tech chewing gum".
