An image consisting of three color filters in visible light of the Andromeda galaxy taken with the telescope of the Zwicky facility on Mount Plumer. The image covers 2.9 square degrees - one 16th of the telescope's full field. Andromeda or Messier 31 is the nearest large galaxy to our Milky Way galaxy, which is 2.5 million light-years away.
