IBM will allow researchers to use the World Community Grid computer system. This service relies on millions of computers and devices of 730,000 volunteers who have signed up to support scientific research. The volunteers download a dedicated application for personal computers and Android devices, and at any moment when the devices are not using all their processing power - it is automatically directed to performing virtual experiments.
