The Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses in April 1933 was the first and decisive step in the policy of exclusion and persecution of the Jews in Nazi Germany. The Nazi regime continued its anti-Semitic policy, which eventually escalated into the Holocaust. The boycott marked the helplessness of the Jewish community in the face of the Nazi threat and the inaction of the international community
