Space-Communications Exchange reported yesterday the signing of an agreement with Skyvision, a satellite communications provider active in Africa, also an Israeli company, for the provision of services on the Amos 5 satellite.

The agreement was signed for a period of six years from the beginning of the commercial operation of the satellite, which is expected in the second half of 2011. The multi-year revenues that the company estimates will result from the transaction throughout the period of the agreement will reach approximately 47 million dollars in aggregate.

The customer will be entitled to notify the company, three years after the start of the service, of his desire to cancel the agreement in full or part of the services provided under the agreement. In case of partial cancellation of the services, the agreement fee will be reduced in proportion to the canceled services.
