The American company Dynetics presented, as part of the International Astronautical Congress held this week in Prague, its approach to the field of the small and cheap launcher, for Responsive Space applications, which according to its initial configuration could launch a 10-kilogram nano-satellite into space, at a cost of about one million dollars.
The launcher developed by the company is called MNMS - Multipurpose Nano Missile System, will use the propulsion systems of the ATACM tactical missile and the heavy MLRS rockets. The company is developing the launcher for the US military, which has a cohesive concept of reactive space, which includes tiny satellites for observing the Earth, and various types of communication.

The design of the launcher is modular and should allow in the future - if it is fully developed - a quick configuration change according to the mission requirements.
