The minister lingered at the displays and toured the exhibition, showing great interest in the various exhibits, and even personally experimenting with their operation.

In her remarks at a special reception that took place after the tour of the exhibition, the Minister of Education and Science of Germany also said that the continuation of the dialogue is the key to connections between cultures and people, and noted that Israeli society has a special creativity, and the impressive 2011 technology exhibition she visited is an example of creativity, and a passion for developing and promoting projects .
"We are celebrating 25 years of joint research and scientific activity, Israeli participation in the Eureka program, and joint activity with all universities in Israel in a variety of fields and not only in R&D," said the minister.

Amir Tamri, CEO of the Israel Fairs and Congresses Center, who warmly greeted the Minister, noted the excellent cooperation of the Fairs Center with the German Embassy in Israel, the commercial embassy and the German companies.
Tamri said: "We are in a construction boom of tens of thousands of meters in the fair center, and we have a lot to learn from Germany's developed exhibition industry."

Germany is the third largest trading partner of the State of Israel and the largest trading partner in the European Union (EU), with an annual trade in products and services of close to 6 billion dollars.
Mutually traded products between the countries include many high-tech products such as mechanization, electronics, and advanced consumer products.
As a complement to the excellent commercial ties between the two countries, there is particularly close cooperation in applied research and science, for the mutual benefit of the industries in Germany and Israel.
