A medical incubator will be established in Or Yehuda

MEDX Ventures Group, Tel Hashomer Company, Boston Scientific and Intellectual Ventures won the tender to operate a technology incubator

MEDX Ventures Group, Tel Hashomer Research Infrastructures and Medical Services Ltd. - the company for the development and commercialization of the intellectual property of the Haim Sheba Medical Center, Boston Scientific and Intellectual Ventures won the tender to operate technology incubators of the chief scientist, as part of the MEDX Group and the MEDX Incubator XELERATOR. The new greenhouse will start operating in the coming months and will be located in Or Yehuda.

The MEDX Incubator is a unique incubator in the field of medical devices and digital medicine, which was founded out of a close and extraordinary collaboration built over a long period of time between four partners, which include the unique investment company MEDX Ventures Group, Tel Hashomer Research Infrastructures and Medical Services Ltd. and leading international companies: Boston Scientific Corporation, which is one of the leading medical device companies in the world, and Intellectual Ventures, a company that specializes in creating innovation in a wide variety of fields, including in the field of medical devices, while leveraging a high-quality and unique investor network.

With the completion of this tender, the process of selecting 19 franchisees in five competitive procedures that took place in recent years was completed. A large part of the entities involved in the tender are international investment funds and international giant companies such as Hutchison, IBM, Strauss, Medtronic, Elbit Systems and the pharmaceutical companies Takeda and Johnson & Johnson.

The Tel-Hashomer company serves as an essential research and clinical arm for the biomed industry in Israel. Its winning as part of the MEDX group in the incubator tender reinforces the importance of the industry's collaboration with a clinical research arm, which has basic and clinical research infrastructures, medical knowledge and regulation, in order to promote an idea for a medical product.

Tel Hashomer and the Sheba Medical Center will operate within the framework of the incubator for the development and promotion of start-up companies, while making research and knowledge infrastructures accessible and deploying a wide network of contacts with partners and potential customers, with the aim of introducing new products and technologies to the international market.

The Tel Hashomer company's win as part of the MEDX group is integrated into the Sheba Medical Center's vision to lead scientific and technological breakthroughs that will take place in future generations, in a diverse range of medical fields: cardiology, oncology, neuroscience, women's diseases and gynecology, genetics, and more.
