The web is abuzz with many rumors about the next generation of iPhones that have been circulating for several months now and everyone wants to know what the next innovations from Apple will be and how it intends to regain its preeminence in the smartphone market. In order to sort out the whole mess, we have divided the various innovations according to market estimates into several topics.

Extra large screen and thinner body
The first and most requested change is of course the increase in the screen: although when Apple introduced the iPhone 5s, most of the main competitors in the market have already increased their screens to a size approaching 5 inches, Apple is left with a 4 inch screen and a little disappointing despite the famous grunt display.

Accordingly, the rumors hold (and these rumors were somewhat verified by Tim Cook, CEO of Apple) that starting with the iPhone 6 and above, the screen size will increase significantly to 4.7-4.9 inches. Others claim that the screen will be even bigger and reach a size of no less than 5.5 inches, but will be concave. In any case, it is quite possible that these are two different models, one of which is a classic smartphone and the other is a Galaxy Note style tablet. In terms of resolution, here too it is likely that Apple will line up with the competition (and especially Galaxy 4s) and present an extremely high resolution of 441 ppi.

Other rumors claim that the device will be thinner similar to the Air product line such as the latest new iPad, which actually sounds logical because the iPhone is one of the thicker devices on the market today.

Electricity flows in the palms of your hands
One of the most interesting rumors regarding the trump card that Apple is expected to reveal is the idea that the new iPhone will simply not have a frame, a quite innovative idea both in terms of design and functionality in today's iPhone market and moreover - the sides of the device will have touch surfaces and not just on the screen itself.

Unlike the devices on the market today, where the main buttons on the side are volume and power off (and any possible combination of them, of course), there will be four additional buttons that can be attached to various shortcuts such as a flashlight, camera, clock, calculator, and more. The famous fingerprint scanner will also move from the home button to the screen itself. It should be noted that Sony has already used a rear touch screen in its portable gaming console, the Vita, so this is not such a far-fetched rumor.

getting in shape
In addition to new models that will be successors to the iPhone 5s, Apple is also expected to release the next version of its operating system, iOS 8. In this version, no significant design changes are expected, but mainly the addition of one particularly impressive application called HealthBook. This application will interface with Apple's smart watch (iWatch) and display data about the number of kilometers you have walked and even your heart rate, blood pressure and state of dryness.

The end of "Brother, wait, wait, one more time - you came out blurry"?
An interesting technology that Apple recently registered a patent for makes it possible to perform an additional focus on photos after they have already been taken, and it is undoubtedly an interesting feature that can leave the competitors far behind. The problem is that the aforementioned patent talks about low-resolution images, so it is possible that Apple will use the new feature only in certain situations or in the front camera.

Rumors and concept videos are currently talking about a 12-megapixel sensor, with an optical aperture of 2.2 and 2K video recording at 120 frames per second - quite impressive.

Another possibility that Apple may use to improve photography is to improve the image stabilization technology (OIS) at the expense of increasing the camera's resolution to 16 megapixels or a similar size as some analysts predict - but what will Apple choose to do?

At the moment - only for Tim Cook and the solutions team.

"Real world" payments using an NFC chip or alternative technology

Another requested addition is expected to take the mobile payment options to the next level. The point is that it is currently unclear whether Apple will give in and use the existing NFC technology to communicate with devices in the user's environment such as drinking machines, or as usual, will try to introduce a different and unique technology such as improving the iBeacon technology that already exists in a wide variety of devices.

In conclusion, apparently this information or any other information is game theory for the various phone speculators and heavy geeks - and for us, those who are going to use the phone for real - all that remains is to wait and see what the day will bring.
