According to the data of the World Health Organization, over 300 million people worldwide have diabetes and this number will double within 30 years. The diabetes epidemic is halting economic growth through disability and loss of life as a result of the disease and its related complications. Diabetes is a financial burden on the patient, his family members and the health system and is estimated to cost approximately 376 billion dollars in 2010, or 11.6% of the total global expenditure on health. 1. Actually the practice is a little different because it is common to add to 101 the ID of the person who will receive the call (like 101 father) but you can do one of the following:
    1. Give up the identification of the recipient of the call (this name does not help the caller anyway)
    2. Add the text "diabetic" after the name
    3. Add another number that starts with 101 (then it will be "101 dad" and "101 diabetic")

Here is the information about the practice (MDA's initiative)

  2. Anxious Secular:
I have fallen short of dealing with the problem you present because I simply do not know the organizations closely and I have never devoted time to studying the subject but I have a small suggestion for the disk problem.
Today everyone has a mobile phone and there is already a practice (which I find here an opportunity to recommend) to put an emergency number in the mobile phone under the name 101 (yes, a numerical name).
I suggest that you write there - instead of just 101 - "101 Diabetics" or something like that.

  3. Three organizations!?!?!? Wat de Pak
In order to help my newly diagnosed diabetic who does not know my rights, I need three organizations ????
When a friend asks me who wants to help from abroad with a donation of 5 million dollars for the fight for life, I don't have an answer for him that I can live with peacefully
    and why so
    Because there are three organizations
When I asked one of the organizations about a disc or something that would show the medical team God forbid that I was diabetic, his retarded answer was to pay me 400 NIS and you will get a membership card that says that!!!!
Nice fool and who will take it out of the wallet?? When I'm unconscious??
They say money blinds the eyes of the wise
As for the blind man, diabetes will take care of that if we don't take care of ourselves
At least I'm not smart because I don't understand why 3 organizations are unable to do well what the state should do or at least the health funds
And regarding the money, there are three organizations that do not justify the split between them, even when talking about type 1 and type 2
Diabetes is diabetes and if I see a person collapsing on the street and I can measure his sugar because my device is on me I am afraid because he might call it an attack but if I have an indication that I have diabetes and it is possible to save him then why not
So enough with greed for money and posing as help, you are only drawing a salary in three organizations, so if you want, unite
And if not, we will show you how to do it without entrance fees to your secret society just so that you will realize that you are criminals against the people who need guidance, help, information and support in the face of what is facing them
And financing it is not a problem when there is an internet open to all and is it true that you have heard about the new and free global internet university??? The same organization for patients

  4. I have been diabetic since the age of 24 and am treated with 4 insulin injections. It is advisable to ask your family doctor for a regular blood test to diagnose diabetes.

  5. I still don't understand why it is not possible to unite all diabetes bodies in Israel all year round and save donation money that is wasted on three bodies with one goal

  6. Half a million declared diabetics and another half in the closet? That makes it at least a million diabetics. Within 6-7 million people? A dizzying success in percentages!
