Air conditioners with advanced technologies

The technological developments that characterize the present time have led to the entry into the picture, in recent years, of a number of extremely advanced air conditioning technologies

It is difficult to find an Israeli home that can survive the hot summer months without an air conditioner, when even in the winter the air conditioners, of course, are anything but switched off. The problem is that an air conditioner may lead to huge financial expenses for its use, as well as considerable environmental pollution, which requires a "new" type of air conditioners, efficient, economical and environmentally friendly to the same extent.
The good news is that this is absolutely possible. The growing demand for air conditioning systems of all kinds, as well as the technological developments that characterize the present time, have led to the introduction, in recent years, of a number of extremely advanced air conditioning technologies. So what technologies are we talking about? And what are the advantages of each of them?

The inverter technology

If you ask officials in the field of air conditioners, they will surely emphasize one of the basic requirements of many Israelis when purchasing Air-Conditioner In recent years: that it will be in inverter technology. It is a technology based on a procedure in which the exchange current is converted into direct current, the speed of which changes. The practical meaning of this technology is that when the power of the air conditioner is changed, its motor will still continue to operate - and this is different from "normal" air conditioners, in which such a change will cause the motor to be turned off and restarted. The result is a saving of up to 50% in the cost of electricity, which results in the fact that inverter air conditioners - which are considered tens of percent more expensive compared to other models - may return the investment in them within a relatively short period of time.

The inverter technology includes several main advantages, economic or not, including reaching the desired temperature within a short period of time, and working much quieter. Due to the continuous work of the engine, its lifespan increases significantly, and the chance of obsolescence or wear of the system is small. In addition to this, inverter air conditioners can certainly work in cooperation with other technological systems, including a smart home, remote control or a central control panel - these systems can also be harnessed for the benefit of energy savings, for example when it comes to defining specific activity times or adjusting the characteristics to the identified room conditions by the system.

Scroll technology

Another technology whose role is to reduce the economic expenses involved in operating an air conditioner is the scroll technology, also a development of recent years. The main principle of air conditioners with this technology is that the compressor in them works continuously, but changes its output according to the need. The main consequence of this is maintaining a stable room temperature, which also involves economic savings that are not eliminated at all.

VRF technology
The next important technology is called VRF, short for Variant Refrigerant Flow. As can be deduced from the foreign name, the main characteristic of this technology is its reliance on the variable gas volume method. Here, the temperature regulation will be carried out by changing the volume of the gas, which will result, you guessed it, in maintaining the stability of the temperature, and therefore also in saving electricity consumption. Another important aspect is that the technology allows separation between spaces, for example heating one space and cooling another space.
It is important to consider that air conditioners equipped with systems of this type will also be more expensive, at least at the initial purchase stage, than other models offered on the market.
