The events of the European Night of Scientists and Science in Israel will take place this year on Thursday 03.12.20 Between 16: 00-23: 00 For the first time interactively and online - and all at no cost! The event, initiated and financed by the European Union and with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, will take place this year in Simen "Science creates reality":

We all use technology that makes life easy and enables things that were not possible before, we all understand that without the development of science and technology, which allow for virtual events, the night of scientists and women of science would not have taken place this year.

Science creates a reality for us that enables creation and creativity, research and development as well as self-fulfillment - science creates reality.

The audience is invited for one day, without leaving home, to discover and explore the world of science in Israel, the developments and researches, witness and participate in scientific demonstrations, quizzes, conversations with representatives from the United Arab Emirates, lectures, interactive games, virtual escape rooms and scientific shows - And all for free.

This year there will be activities in 3 languages: Hebrew, English and Arabic.

All activities will take place at a central site, within a three-dimensional virtual campus where the public will enjoy dozens of simultaneous activities from 13 academic institutions, research centers and science museums from around the country. The site will be accessible to everyone free of charge Activities can be entered from any computer or mobile device. 

This year, thanks to the work that this is an online event, it is a wonderful and one-time opportunity to blur the geographical boundaries and in fact everyone will benefit from all the activities of all 13 institutions participating in the event. The residents of the south will get to know the activities and the academic institutions in the north of the country and conversely the residents of the center and the periphery will get to know fascinating research and study opportunities outside of their area of ​​residence.
