Following the Ministry of Health's announcement on the lifting of the Corona restrictions, the ChipEx2021 conference will be held as a physical conference at the exhibition grounds. Among the participants are senior executives from Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Samsung and Qualcomm

A series of senior executives of the global technology industry including Prof. Anima Anandkomer, Nvidia's guru in the field of artificial intelligence, Dr. Scott Crowder, CTO and vice president of IBM's quantum computing field, Uri Frank, the incoming CEO of Google's new chip development center in Israel , Dr. Yevgeni Gusev, a Qualcomm executive and chairman of the international association for the field of TinyML, Dr. Maria Merced, president of EMEA of TSMC and Axel Fischer, vice president of Samsung Europe, have already confirmed their participation as lecturers in the main annual conference of the Israeli chip industry.

Shlomo Gerdman, general chairman of ChipEx2021: "This is a particularly challenging year, but following many requests we have received, we have decided to hold the ChipEx2021 conference as a physical conference and allow industry people to meet and get updated after a long period without live events. It will be one of the first international conferences to be held in a physical format after the Corona year.
This year we put emphasis on the hot areas in the industry including quantum computing, artificial intelligence, data security in hardware, EDGE Computing, TinyML as well as advanced methods for designing and manufacturing chips. The chip industry is currently in a period of high tide and for good reasons. I believe that advanced chips are an essential growth engine for many products and industries, and we have many good days ahead of us."

The conference, which is considered one of the largest and most important in its field in the world, will be attended by dozens of exhibitors from about 20 countries and about 50 lecturers and facilitators from all over the world who will present at the professional conference and the accompanying exhibition

The ChipEx2021 conference - the annual conference of the Israeli chip industry will be held this year on June 21-22. This year, in light of the restrictions on movement between countries, the conference organizers decided to hold a hybrid conference. That is, on the first day there will be a physical conference at the HaTarukha Gardens in Tel Aviv, while the second day will be dedicated to a virtual conference in which multinational companies that were prevented from coming to Israel will present. This day will also allow participants who will not be able to come to the physical conference to watch the conference lectures and exhibition booths through the computer screen in their offices or at home.

Among the participants in the conference are a number of senior leaders of the global technology industry, including Prof. Anima Anandkomer, Nvidia's guru in the field of artificial intelligence, Dr. Scott Crowder, CTO and IBM's vice president for quantum computing, Uri Frank, the incoming CEO of Google's new chip development center In Israel, Dr. Yevgeni Gusev, senior at Qualcomm and chairman of the international association for the field of TinyML, Dr. Maria Merced, president of EMEA at TSMC, Axel Fischer vice president of Samsung Europe and more.

Dozens of additional lecturers from all over the world will participate in the conference, which is considered the professional summit meeting of all those involved in the design, development, and manufacture of chips, components, electronic cards, and integrated systems.

ChipEx2021 will begin with a morning plenary session, after which the technical conference will split into four parallel tracks in two rounds of lectures. In total, the conference will include 10 professional sessions and about 50 lecturers and facilitators will participate.

At the end of the professional conference, there will be a celebratory closing session with the participation of industry executives, where the "Global Industry Leader" awards will be awarded, like every year, to several individuals who have made a substantial contribution to the development of the global and local chip industry.

Dozens of companies supplying components, tools and services, from the USA, Germany, Italy, France, Great Britain, Russia, the Netherlands, Belgium, India, Japan, China and Taiwan, will present at the exhibition innovative tools and services offered to the local microelectronics industry.

About 1,500 people from the industry are expected to participate in the conference, including engineers, development managers, vice presidents, CEOs of companies in the field of microelectronics, venture capital investors and professional experts for the industry.

The ChipEx2021 conference is organized by ISG Ltd. in collaboration with SIA - the industry association in the USA, and SEMI - the international association of the chip industry.

All the professional lectures at ChipEx2021 were selected by a professional steering committee consisting of senior academics and industry members headed by Prof. Ran Ginosar, head of the Research Center for VLSI Systems at the Technion and professional chairman of ChipEx2021.

Prof. Ran Ginosar, professional chairman of the conference, added: "This year we have chosen a battery of top-class lecturers from the global industry who will respond to our request and will present at the conference the most innovative and interesting technologies that will help industrial engineers develop the next generation of chips. Also, this year we dedicated several dedicated tracks to the hot topics in the industry, including the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, the Internet of Things ((IOT) and more. From the many requests received, we chose the best ones and I am happy to allow the people of the industry to learn about these innovations through their presentation at ChipEx2021.
